Inspired by the limited tones of color used in James McNeill Whistlers (1834-1903) "Nocturne" paintings, I tried to work with the colors of the outermost registers of the bass saxophone in this short solo piece.

The work is now under revision. A new version for bass saxophone and vibraphone is planned for 2025.
